Dewatering

Surfactants are used to modify the surface of particles filtered so that in a step of stacking, a thick cake is formed in the drying stage: Effectively removing the water.

The economic benefit of introducing a filter aid includes the following:

• It is insoluble in water, almost completely adsorbed on the surface of the solid phase.

• It biodegrades rapidly in water.         
• Safe for transport and storage.
